Permanent installation of hydrocyclone systems in circulation streams in biogas and treatment plants. These will typically be systems that are installed to reduce the accumulation of sand in tanks and reactors, but also to reduce wear and tear on process equipment that is exposed to sand.
Background.
Today, plants are delivered so that end customers/biogas plants buy complete systems from large international suppliers, where sand removal is a small part of the total delivery. Equipment for sand removal is typically equipment that the turnkey supplier buys from subcontractors. It turns out that the turnkey supplier often has limited knowledge of the operation and optimization of the equipment they provide for sand removal, which can lead to wear and tear in the plant and shutdown of the hydrocyclones due to incorrect use and installation.
